PROCEDURE
REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
for AC60E:
for AC60F:
REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Using SST, hold the crankshaft.
Remove the 8 bolts, the rear drive plate spacer, the drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly, and the front drive plate spacer.
Note
Do not reuse the bolts.
REMOVE REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

Using a knife, cut off the lip of the rear crankshaft oil seal.
Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear crankshaft oil seal.
Note
Be careful not to damage the crankshaft.
After removing the rear crankshaft oil seal, check the crankshaft for damage. If damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
