  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for Sedan)

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for Sedan)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (except Sedan)

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt, nut and battery clamp sub-assembly, battery clamp bolt.

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET (for 1ND-TV)

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET (for 1NR-FE)

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET (for 1ZR-FAE)

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET (for 1ZR-FE)

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET (for 2ZR-FE)

  13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 1ND-TV)

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the No. 2 fan shroud.

    2. E261347

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides, and remove the No. 2 fan shroud.

  21. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. E261290

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser with receiver assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  22. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE ASSEMBLY

    1. E261291

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioner tube assembly from the condenser with receiver assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the air conditioner tube assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  23. REMOVE CONDENSER WITH RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. E261292

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the condenser with receiver assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not damage the condenser with receiver assembly or radiator when removing the condenser with receiver assembly.
