EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH

    1. Remove the 4 screws and rear quarter panel mudguard.

  3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Remove the 2 screws and grommet.

    2. A231425

      Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper protector.

    3. Disconnect the wire harness from the rear bumper protector.

  4. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the tailpipe from the exhaust pipe support.

    2. Remove the gasket.

  5. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs, and then disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    2. Remove the gasket.

  6. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE STOPPER BRACKET

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  9. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)
