COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FAN AND NO. 2 FAN (w/ Towing Package)

      Remove the 2 nuts, fan and No. 2 fan.

  3. REMOVE FAN AND NO. 2 FAN (w/o Towing Package)

      Remove the 2 nuts, fan and No. 2 fan.

  4. REMOVE COOLING FAN ECU (w/ Towing Package)

      Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.

    2. A362592

      Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

    3. A362596

      Remove the 4 screws and 2 cooling fan ECU.

  5. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/ Towing Package)

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  6. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/o Towing Package)

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/ Towing Package)

      Remove the 3 screws and remove the No. 2 cooling fan motor.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR (w/o Towing Package)

      Detach the 3 harness clamps from the fan shroud.

    2. A208246

      Remove the 3 screws and remove the No. 2 cooling fan motor.
