  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The brake pedal stroke sensor assembly uses a Hall IC to detect the stroke of the brake pedal.

    2. The skid control ECU uses the signal from the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly to judge the brake pedal reaction force. The skid control ECU then uses the brake pedal reaction force to determine the level of vacuum in the brake booster. If the vacuum is low, the skid control ECU operates brake assist to enhance the braking force.
