FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A005AUL

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the front side member bracket sub-assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. A005DEPE01
      Text in Illustration
      *1 Bolt
      *2 Screw

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper side support LH with the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
      Screw
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005APL

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      30 N*m  { 306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

    3. Engage the 3 clamps.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A005E6V

      Engage the 4 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SEAL


    1. Clean the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly surface.


      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from the front bumper seal.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install a new front bumper seal.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A005E2T

      Engage the 16 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  9. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH


    1. A005EY0

      Engage the 7 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  10. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper hole cover LH.

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER


    1. A005DU6

      Engage the claw and install the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005BG4

      Engage the 14 claws and guide to install the radiator grille.

    2. A005EIF

      Install the 4 clips.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EMBLEM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005D4B

      Engage the 2 pins and 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper emblem sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  16. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. A005AFT

      Engage the 8 clamps to install the No. 3 engine room wire.

  17. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. A005C5Q

      Engage the 9 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

  18. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Engage the 2 clips to install a new hood to front end panel seal.

  19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A005CZB

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)
