  1. CONSTRUCTION

    1. The camshaft position sensor informs the ECM of the position of the camshaft in order to know which cylinder is in the compression phase.

    2. When a target is passing in front of the permanent magnet of the camshaft position sensor: The output signal is low.

    3. When there is no target in front of the permanent magnet of the camshaft position sensor: the output signal is high.
