FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM(for RH Side) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

For models with a 1AD-FTV or 1ND-TV engine, the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH can be removed without removing the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Full Cover Type)

  3. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 1AD-FTV, 1ND-TV)

      Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, and separate the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH from the front lower ball joint assembly.

      Note:

      Do not damage the boot of the ball joint.

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 1AD-FTV, 1ND-TV)

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH from the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

  5. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 1NR-FE)
