FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM(for RH Side) INSTALLATION
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
For models with a 1WW or 1ND-TV engine, the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH can be installed without removing the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.
PROCEDURE
TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (except 1WW, 1ND-TV)
TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 1WW, 1ND-TV)
Temporarily install the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH to the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.
Note:Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
CONNECT FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 1WW, 1ND-TV)
Connect the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly RH to the front lower ball joint assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.

FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (except 8NR-FTS)

Using SST, fully tighten the bolt (A).

Note:This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.
Tip:Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using SST (fulcrum length of 200 mm (7.87 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 425 mm (1.39 ft.)):
158 N*m (1611 kgf*cm, 117 ft.*lbf)
Fully tighten the bolt (B).
