LIGHTING SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM

1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

   Control	Outline	Lights that Operate
   Actuation Area-linked	When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the items listed to the right turn on.	Front Dome Light Rear Dome Light Footwell Light
   Door Lock/Unlock-linked	When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.	Front Dome Light Rear Dome Light Power Switch Illumination Footwell Light
   	When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.

   	When the power switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off, the lights that operate turn off.	Ambient Illumination Light

   Shift Position-linked	When the shift lever is moved from P to any other position, the lights that operate dim.	Ambient Illumination Light
   Delay	When approximately 15 seconds elapse after the following condition is met, the lights that operate turn off: An actuation area-linked function is used.	Front Dome Light Rear Dome Light Footwell Light
   	When approximately 15 seconds elapse after the following condition is met, the lights that operate turn off: An power switch-linked function is used.	Front Dome Light Rear Dome Light Power Switch Illumination Footwell Light
   	When approximately 15 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off: The door unlock-linked function is active. BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM

1. The battery saving control system has the following control functions:

   Control	Outline	Lights that Operate
   Basic function	When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off. Tech Tips Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off. The power switch is turned on (ACC or IG). Any door is opened and closed. The luggage compartment door is opened and closed. Any door is unlocked. The key enters any exterior actuation area.    Interior light auto cut function	When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off. Tech Tips Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off. The power switch is turned on (ACC or IG).
