PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (Lane Departure Alert Main Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 - 5 Lane departure alert main switch on Below 1 Ω
      2 - 5 Lane departure alert main switch off 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the lane departure alert main switch connector and check that the lane departure alert main switch illuminates.

        Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1
