THEFT DETERRENT


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The theft deterrent system can sound an alarm when somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle, open the engine hood and unlock and open any door without the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly*1 or foldable key type transmitter*2.


      • *1: Models with entry and start system

      • *2: Models without entry and start system

    2. The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts, a security horn and a security indicator light.

    3. The system is controlled by the body ECU.

    1. The warning specifications of this system are listed below:

      Vehicle Horn Sounds a warning in approximately 0.4-second cycles
      Security Horn Sounds a warning at approximately 0.4-second cycles
      Warning Time Approximately 27.5 seconds
