REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NOUT)

   
   

   1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring, and install it to the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT).

      Note

      Be careful not to damage or twist the O-ring.

   2. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) connector.

2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NIN)

   
   

   1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring, and install it to the transmission revolution sensor (NIN).

      Note

      Be careful not to damage or twist the O-ring.

   2. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) connector.

3. INSPECT FOR CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE FLUID LEAK

4. INSPECT REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
