CONSTRUCTION
The intercooler assembly is installed directly to the engine. As a result, engine size reduction is achieved. Also, response is improved by shortening the length of the path from the turbocharger sub-assembly to the cylinder heads and reducing the downstream intake capacity of the turbocharger sub-assembly.
A water-cooled type intercooler assembly is used to improve cooling efficiency and achieve size reduction.
An inner fin is used in the engine coolant path to improve the cooling efficiency of the intercooler assembly.
