FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL

w/ Pre-crash Safety System:

Tip:

When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH

    1. B425577

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the front fender front splash shield LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      Remove the 4 screws.

      90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip and screw.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

      Center Hood Cushion

      *2

      Radiator Grille Protector

      Remove the center hood cushion and 2 radiator grille protectors.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and clip.

      Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    7. w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

    8. Disconnect the main engine room wire connector.

    9. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight washer hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

      Tip:

      Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. B427342

      Remove the front bumper No. 2 energy absorber.

  5. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE COOLER (AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR) THERMISTOR

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER CENTER STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. B425584

      Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper center stay sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. B432957

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the clip.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper upper reinforcement sub-assembly.
