CLUTCH PEDAL(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

    1. Install the clutch pedal pad to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

    1. Install the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

    MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to both sides of the clutch pedal shaft collar and 2 new bushes.

    2. Install the clutch pedal shaft collar.

    3. Install the 2 bushes.

  4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER

    MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal spring holder.

    2. Install the clutch pedal spring holder.

  5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the clutch pedal to the clutch pedal support with the bolt and nut.

      37 N*m

      377 kgf*cm

      27 ft.*lbf

      Tip:

      Install the bolt from the left side of the vehicle.

  6. INSTALL PEDAL WITH HOOK SPRING

    MP grease

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

    2. Install the pedal with hook spring.

  7. INSTALL CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  8. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis and the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

      Install the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis to the cutout of the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the left side of the vehicle and push it downward.

    3. Install the clutch pedal support sub-assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      24 N*m

      245 kgf*cm

      18 ft.*lbf

      for nut

      13 N*m

      133 kgf*cm

      10 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Check that the push rod cannot be turned 30° or more in order to confirm that the clevis is securely engaged in the pedal.

    4. Connect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
