Both conditions are met:


  • The voltage at the IG power supply terminal of the combination meter assembly is 10.5 V or higher.

  • No communication with the tire pressure monitor receiver assembly continues for 3 seconds or more.

  • Harness or connector

  • Tire pressure monitor receiver assembly

  • Combination meter assembly

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D66 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G65*1 or L2*2 tire pressure monitor receiver assembly connector.


      • *1: for Sedan

      • *2: for Wagon

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for Sedan
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G65-5 (IND) - D66-17 (TIRE) Always Below 1 Ω
      G65-5 (IND) or D66-17 (TIRE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for Wagon
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L2-5 (IND) - D66-17 (TIRE) Always Below 1 Ω
      L2-5 (IND) or D66-17 (TIRE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
