DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the television antenna assembly which is connected to the navigation ECU.

Note


  • Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Navigation System.

  • When replacing the navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one. If a navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:


    • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.

    • The navigation ECU may not operate normally.

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)


    1. Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly (for front side) with a new or known good one.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
      OK
      No DTCs are output.
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    OK

    END

    NG

  2. REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  3. REPLACE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  4. REPLACE TELEVISION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the television antenna assembly with a new or known good one.
