  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time maybe required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

  5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the front door check assembly LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

  17. REMOVE UPPER DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH

  18. REMOVE FRONT DOOR FIX WINDOW GLASS LH

  19. REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING LH

  21. REMOVE NO. 3 BLACK OUT TAPE LH

    Tech Tips

    When removing the No. 3 black out tape LH, heat the front door panel and No. 3 black out tape LH using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Front Door Panel 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    No. 3 Black Out Tape LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the front door panel or No. 3 black out tape LH excessively.

      Pull back an edge of the No. 3 black out tape LH and pull it parallel to the front door panel to remove it.

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 BLACK OUT TAPE LH

    Tech Tips

    When removing the No. 2 black out tape LH, heat the front door panel and No. 2 black out tape LH using a heat light.

    Item Temperature
    Front Door Panel 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    No. 2 Black Out Tape LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the front door panel or No. 2 black out tape LH excessively.

      Pull back an edge of the No. 2 black out tape LH and pull it parallel to the front door panel to remove it.

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 BLACK OUT TAPE LH

    Tech Tips

    When removing the No. 1 black out tape LH, heat the front door panel and No. 1 black out tape LH using a heat light.

    Front Door Panel 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    No. 1 Black Out Tape LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note
