AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. An AC60F 6-speed Electronic Control Transmission (ECT) is used. This automatic transmission is provided with a wide gear ratio, achieving superior output performance and fuel economy. Also, by simplifying the structure, size and weight reduction is achieved.

    2. An oil pump with solenoid assembly is provided to ensure adequate ATF pressure when the stop and start system is operating. For details, see IDLING STOP CONTROL.

    3. A gate type shift lever is used.

    4. A multi-mode automatic transmission is used.

    5. A shift pattern select switch is used.

    6. An ATF cooler is used in the ATF cooling system.
