SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

   1. Remove the map light assembly (sliding roof switch assembly).

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Map Light Assembly (Sliding Roof Switch Assembly))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
      1 (GND3) - 5 (UP)	UP switch is pressed	Below 1 Ω
      1 (GND3) - 5 (UP)	UP switch is not pressed	10 kΩ or higher
      1 (GND3) - 4 (DOWN)	DOWN switch is pressed	Below 1 Ω
      1 (GND3) - 4 (DOWN)	DOWN switch is not pressed	10 kΩ or higher
      1 (GND3) - 3 (OPN)	OPEN switch is pressed	Below 1 Ω
      1 (GND3) - 3 (OPN)	OPEN switch is not pressed	10 kΩ or higher
      1 (GND3) - 2 (CLS)	CLOSE switch is pressed	Below 1 Ω
      1 (GND3) - 2 (CLS)	CLOSE switch is not pressed	10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (sliding roof switch assembly).

   3. Install the map light assembly (sliding roof switch assembly).
