NAME PLATE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    Tip:

    When removing the back door name plate, heat the vehicle body and back door name plate using a heat light.

    Back Door Name Plate

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the vehicle body or back door name plate excessively.

      Protective Tape

      Wooden Block

      Put protective tape around the back door name plate.

    2. Insert piano wire between the vehicle body and back door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the back door name plate to the vehicle body.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the back door name plate.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR EMBLEM

    Tip:

    When removing the No. 1 back door emblem, heat the vehicle body and No. 1 back door emblem using a heat light.

    Note:

    Do not heat the vehicle body or No. 1 back door emblem excessively.

    2. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.

    3. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 1 back door emblem to the vehicle body.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    4. Remove the No. 1 back door emblem.

  3. REMOVE NO. 4 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    Tip:

    When removing the No. 4 back door emblem, heat the vehicle body and No. 4 back door emblem using a heat light.

      4. Remove the No. 4 back door emblem.

        Note:

        Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      4. Remove the No. 4 back door emblem.
