PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL

      Remove the filler plug and gasket.

      0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.)

      Check that the oil level is between 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the filler plug opening.

      Note:

      An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

    3. Check for oil leakage if the oil level is low.

    4. Install the filler plug and a new gasket.
