DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Diesel Throttle Target Angle / Diesel Throttle / Target Throttle Position and Actual Throttle Position.

      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test

      Active Test Display
      Diesel Throttle Target Angle

      Data List Display
      Target Throttle Position
      Actual Throttle Position

   5. Adjust "Diesel Throttle Target Angle" and check that "Actual Throttle Position" changes according to "Target Throttle Position".

      OK

      "Actual Throttle Position" changes according to "Target Throttle Position".
