  1. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A01DVKZE01

      Install the pump to the bracket with air pump insulator.

  2. CONNECT NO. 3 AIR HOSE


    1. A01DYJCE01

      Connect the No. 3 hose to the pump.

  3. CONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 2 hose to the pump.

    2. Secure the No. 2 hose with the clamp.

      Tech Tips

      The clamp can be installed facing upward or downward.

    3. Clamp the No. 2 hose and wire harness with the clamp.

  4. INSTALL AIR PUMP COVER

      Install the cover to the bracket with the 3 clips.

  5. INSTALL AIR PUMP PIPE


    1. A01DXRA

      Install the inlet pipe to the body panel with the bolt.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET


    1. A01E1MTE02

      Install the pump with bracket to the body panel with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Attach the bracket's protrusion to the body's hole.

    2. Connect the No. 2 and No. 3 hoses to the inlet pipe.

      Tech Tips

      Connect the No. 2 air hose to the pipe connected to the air switching valve.

    3. Secure the No. 2 hose with the clamp.

    4. A01DVSO

      Install the 2 claws to the inlet pipe and body panel.

    5. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL UPPER


    1. Install the apron seal with the 6 clips.

  8. CONNECT NO. 4 AIR HOSE


    1. A01E2TJE01

      Connect the No. 4 hose to the air switching valve and inlet pipe.

    2. Secure the hose with the 2 clamps.

    3. Clamp the hose with the clamp.

  9. INSTALL AIR PUMP INLET


    1. Connect the hose to the inlet pipe.

    2. Install the pump inlet to the radiator tank upper with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01E2OOE01

      Connect the air cleaner hose.

    2. Install the air cleaner with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

    3. Tighten the hose clamp.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the MAF meter connector.

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
