  • Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER


    1. A004IBH

      Turn the headlight cover in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  2. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A004HEC

      Turn the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and disconnect the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly socket.

    2. A004KH8E02

      Release the set spring as indicated by the arrow in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the discharge headlight bulb.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A004J5Q

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A004HKE

      Disconnect the connector to remove the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. A004HLT

      Remove the headlight gasket.

      Note

      After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
