Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

  • When the ECM detects a cruise control switch on signal from the cruise control switch, the ECM sends the signal to the combination meter through CAN communication. Then the CRUISE main indicator light turns on.

  • The CRUISE main indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

    1. Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the CRUISE main indicator light illuminates.

    1. Use the Data List to check if the CRUISE main indicator light is functioning properly.
