WASHER MOTOR (for Rear) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR WASHER MOTOR

      Fill the washer tank with washer fluid.

      Tech Tips

      Operation should be performed with the rear washer motor installed to the washer tank assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear washer motor connector.

    3. Check operation of the rear washer motor.

      OK
      Measurement condition Specified condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery positive (-) → Terminal 1

      		 Washer fluid flows from washer tank

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear washer motor.

      Note

      Washer fluid will rush out when the motor operates. Take care so that the washer fluid does not get into your eyes.
