RADIATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  3. REMOVE FRONT UPPER BUMPER SUPPORT

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER

      Remove the 10 bolts and front lower bumper absorber.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  9. REMOVE BATTERY

  10. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose.

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A325093

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A104616

      Remove the 6 bolts and front cross member sub-assembly.

    3. A325095

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the radiator assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.

      Note:
      • Make sure not to damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the radiator assembly.

      • Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly.

      • Use wire or an equivalent tool to keep the cooler condenser assembly from hanging by the pipe.

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

      Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly.

  15. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

    1. A325724

      Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly.
