HOOD REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

    1. B372521

      Engage the 3 claws to install the hood support assembly.

  2. INSTALL HOOD BUMPER CUSHION

    1. B372522

      Engage the 2 claws to install 2 new hood bumper cushions.

  3. INSTALL HOOD INSULATOR (w/ Hood Insulator)

    1. B372125

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the hood insulator with 5 new hood insulator clips.

  4. INSTALL HOOD SUPPORT ROD CLAMP

    1. B372124

      Engage the 2 claws to install the hood support rod clamp.

  5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. B372529

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly.

    2. B372122

      Install the hood lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      12 N*m

      122 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

    3. w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:

      1. B372123

        Engage the 2 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    4. B372121

      Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock assembly.

  6. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
