FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER) (for Standard Seat Type)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Check the seat cushion cover surface.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater (Separate Type Seat Cushion Cover LH))	*b	Connector A
         *c	Connector B	-	-

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q36-1 - B-1 Always 20°C 2.34 to 2.86 Ω Q36-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q36-1 - A-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q36-1 - Q36-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q36-2 - Q36-6 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.59 to 5.61 Ω A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.86 to 5.94 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

   3. Check the seat cushion cover side.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater (Separate Type Seat Cushion Cover LH))

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 20°C 0.72 to 0.88 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER) (for Sports Seat Type)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Check the seat cushion cover surface.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater (Separate Type Seat Cushion Cover LH))	*b	Connector A
         *c	Connector B	-	-

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q36-1 - B-1 Always 20°C 2.34 to 2.86 Ω Q36-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q36-1 - A-2 Always 20°C 2.79 to 3.41 Ω Q36-1 - Q36-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q36-2 - Q36-6 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.77 to 5.83 Ω A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.68 to 5.72 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

   3. Check the seat cushion cover side.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 20°C 0.72 to 0.88 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER) (for Standard Seat Type)

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q15-1 - B-1 Always 20°C 2.34 to 2.86 Ω Q15-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q15-1 - A-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q15-1 - Q15-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω Q15-2 - Q15-6 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.59 to 5.61 Ω A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.86 to 5.94 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type seat cushion cover RH (front seat cushion heater).

   3. Check the seat cushion cover side.
