TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

   1. Pass the transmission control cable assembly into the vehicle and install it with the 3 nuts.

      5 N*m

      51 kgf*cm

      44 in.*lbf

   2. 

      *a	Transmission Control Shift Cable
      *b	Transmission Control Select Cable
      *c	Turn

      Connect the transmission control select cable to the floor shift control lever housing support bracket.

      Note:

      Make sure that the transmission control select cable is securely installed.

   3. Rotate the lever to secure the transmission control select cable.

   4. Connect the transmission control shift cable to the floor shift control lever housing support bracket.

      Note:

      Make sure that the transmission control shift cable is securely installed.

   5. Rotate the lever to secure the transmission control shift cable.

   6. 

      *a	Transmission Control Shift Cable
      *b	Transmission Control Select Cable

      Connect the transmission control select cable to the manual transaxle assembly.

      Note:

      Make sure that the transmission control select cable is securely installed.

   7. Connect the transmission control shift cable to the manual transaxle assembly.

      Note:

      Make sure that the transmission control shift cable is securely installed.

2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

   1. Install the front No. 1 floor heat insulator to the vehicle body with the 3 nuts.

      5.5 N*m

      56 kgf*cm

      49 in.*lbf

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
