VANE PUMP (for TR Series Engine) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE VANE PUMP OIL RESERVOIR CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the vane pump oil reservoir cap sub-assembly from the vane pump oil reservoir assembly.

  2. REMOVE VANE PUMP OIL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 3 bolts and the vane pump oil reservoir assembly from the vane pump assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the O-ring from the vane pump oil reservoir assembly.

  3. FIX VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Using SST, hold the vane pump assembly in a vise.

  4. REMOVE FLOW CONTROL VALVE

      Remove the pressure port union.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the pressure port union.

    3. Remove the flow control valve and the compression spring.

  5. REMOVE POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH


    1. Remove the power steering oil pressure switch from the front vane pump housing.

  6. REMOVE REAR VANE PUMP HOUSING

      Remove the 4 bolts and the rear vane pump housing.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the rear vane pump housing.

  7. REMOVE VANE PUMP SHAFT WITH PULLEY

      Using 2 screwdrivers, remove the vane pump shaft snap ring from the vane pump shaft with pulley.

    2. Remove the vane pump shaft with pulley.

  8. REMOVE VANE PUMP ROTOR


    1. Remove the 10 vane pump plates.

    2. Remove the vane pump rotor.

  9. REMOVE VANE PUMP CAM RING


    1. Remove the vane pump cam ring.

  10. REMOVE FRONT VANE PUMP SIDE PLATE


    1. Remove the front vane pump side plate from the front vane pump housing.

      Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump side plate.

    3. B007OVH

      Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump housing.

  11. REMOVE VANE PUMP HOUSING OIL SEAL


    1. B007V0CE01

      Using a screwdriver, remove the vane pump housing oil seal from the front vane pump housing.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the front vane pump housing.
