  1. INSPECT LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    (Level Warning Switch Assembly)
    Tip:

    The following check should be performed with the level warning switch assembly installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.

    1. Fill the windshield washer jar assembly with washer fluid.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      1 - 2

      Fluid volume is more than 800 ml

      10 kΩ or higher

      Fluid volume is less than 600 ml

      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the level warning switch assembly.
