HOOD DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. B372121

      Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the hood lock assembly.

    2. w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:

      1. B372123

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. B372122

      Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock assembly.

  2. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ROD CLAMP

    1. B372124

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the hood support rod clamp.

  3. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR (w/ Hood Insulator)

    1. B372125

      Remove the 5 hood insulator clips.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the hood insulator.

  4. REMOVE HOOD BUMPER CUSHION

    1. B372522

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the 2 hood bumper cushions.

  5. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

    1. B372521

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the hood support assembly.
