DESCRIPTION

The ECM receives the brake demand signal from the driving support ECU assembly and transmits it to the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives a signal from the ECM and operates the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) operates the brake actuator assembly and illuminates the stop lights by operating the integration relay.

    w/o Full-speed range following function:

  • While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the ECM receives a semiconductor PWR integration ECU error signal from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 0.5 seconds or more.


    w/ Full-speed range following function:

  • While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the ECM receives a semiconductor PWR integration ECU error signal from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 0.5 seconds or more.

  • Before replacing the ECM, refer to Service Bulletin.

  • First check the CAN communication system by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. After checking that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system, proceed with troubleshooting.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs.

      Tech Tips

      When DTC P057113 is stored by the dynamic radar cruise control system, DTC C1380 is stored by the VSC system. Therefore, if DTC P057113 is stored, inspect the VSC system first.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (RADAR CRUISE 1)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF button).

      3. w/ Full-speed range following function: Drive the vehicle at 5 km/h (3 mph) or more for 1 second or more.

        w/o Full-speed range following function: Drive the vehicle at 36 km/h (22 mph) or more for 1 second or more.

    3. Check for DTCs.
