REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY(w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

CAUTION:

Be sure to correctly follow the removal and installation procedures for the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 CENTER SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)


    1. Visually check for defects with the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly installed to the vehicle.


      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:


        • Cuts on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        • Small cracks on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        • Significant discoloration on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        OK
        No defects are found.

        Tech Tips

        If any defects are found, replace the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly with a new one.

  2. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 CENTER SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle Involved in Collision)


    1. Visually check for defects with the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly removed from the vehicle.


      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:


        • Cuts on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        • Small cracks on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        • Significant discoloration on the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly

        • Cracks or other damage on the connector

        OK
        No defects are found.

        Tech Tips

        If any defects are found, replace the rear No. 1 center seat lap type belt assembly with a new one.
