CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the crankshaft position sensor.

   2. Install the crankshaft position sensor with the bolt to the timing gear cover.

      Torque:

      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

   3. Attach the 4 clamps and connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

      Note

      Insert the crankshaft position sensor wire harness into the protrusions of the timing gear cover.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
