DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the lane departure warning camera receives a malfunction signal from the power steering ECU.

  • 2 seconds elapse after turning the engine switch on (IG).

  • The IG voltage is 10 V or higher.

  • 2 seconds elapse after the IG voltage is 10 V or higher.

  • Malfunction Status: This DTC is stored when the power steering ECU assembly detects a torque request signal from the lane departure warning camera, the power steering ECU assembly sends a malfunction flag and the lane departure warning camera continuously receives a malfunction signal for 5 seconds or more.

  • When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one or it is removed, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed.

    When replacing the power steering ECU assembly with a new one, perform assist map.

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (POWER STEERING SYSTEM)


    1. for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column:


      1. Clear the DTCs.

        Click here


        Chassis > EMPS > Clear DTCs

      2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

        Tech Tips

        If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

      3. Check for DTCs.

    2. for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:


      1. Clear the DTCs.
