FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for RHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the RH side.


  1. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      *1 Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01DXHX

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Detach the claw and guide.

    4. Remove the front seat cushion shield RH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield RH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch RH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and guide.

    3. A01DYCZ

      Pull the front seat inner cushion shield RH to detach the claw and remove the front seat inner cushion shield RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

    2. A01DZ9C

      Roll up the front seat cushion cover LH.

    3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

    4. Remove the buckle cover.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH


    1. Remove the front seat cushion cover RH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the hog rings.

      for LHD, w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the 2 front seat cushion heater assembly LH connectors.

      2. Detach the 4 front seat cushion heater assembly LH clamps.

    3. Bend the 2 front seat cushion frame claws upward.

    4. Detach the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD, w/ Seat Heater System)

      Cut off the tack pins which hold down the front seat cushion heater assembly LH, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

      Detach the 4 front seat airbag wire harness clamps.

    2. A01DWRF

      Disconnect the No. 1 seat wire connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. A01DZUF

      for LHD, w/ Seat Heater System:

      Detach the front seatback heater assembly LH wire harness clamp.

    4. A01DZYQ

      Remove the 2 screws, 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

  13. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

      Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

      Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      w/o Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Disconnect the No. 1 seat wire connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. A01DZNG

      Remove the hog rings from the wires of the separate type front seatback cover, and then roll up the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. Pass the No. 1 seat wire through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

      for LHD, w/ Seat Heater System:

      Pass the front seatback heater assembly LH wire harness through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Remove the hog rings and detach the strap of the separate type front seatback cover, and then roll up the separate type front seatback cover and No. 1 seatback cloth.

    6. A01E1F3

      Pass the strap of the separate type front seatback cover through the holes of the separate type front seatback pad.

    7. A01DZB8

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Remove the nut and detach the separate type front seatback cover bracket.

    8. Remove the hog rings and roll up the separate type front seatback cover.

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD, w/ Seat Heater System)

      Cut off the tack pins which hold down the front seatback heater assembly LH, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly LH from the separate type front seatback cover.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

      Remove the separate type front seatback pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

      Remove the No. 1 seatback cloth.

  19. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  20. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    2. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  23. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Reclining, w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

  26. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH

    1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat wire RH.

  29. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT WIRE

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Disconnect the front power seat motor assembly (for Reclining) connector.

    2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and remove the No. 1 seat wire.

  30. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly.
