OUTLINE
The panoramic moon roof system uses 2 glass panels. The front glass panel performs tilt up-and-down and open-and-close operations.

An electrically-operated roof sunshade system blocks direct sunlight from entering through the panoramic roof in order to ensure comfort.
A rolling type roof sunshade system is used. As a result, the storage space for the shade has been reduced and the 2 glass panels provide a more open feeling.

The sliding roof ECU and roof sunshade ECU are connected via the LIN communication system to perform cooperative control between the sliding roof panel and roof sunshade. Each ECU uses Hall IC to detect the position of the sliding roof and roof sunshade. The sliding roof ECU and Hall IC are integrated into the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.
