DESCRIPTION

Connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3 causes the ECU to display the DTC by blinking the ABS warning light and slip indicator light.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT DLC3

      Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - ECM)

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. for 1AD-FTV, 2AD-FTV, 2AD-FHV:

      Disconnect the A61 ECM connector.

    3. for 2AR-FE, 3ZR-FE, 3ZR-FAE:

      Disconnect the A62 ECM connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. for 1AD-FTV, 2AD-FTV, 2AD-FHV:

      Reconnect the A61 ECM connector.

    2. for 2AR-FE, 3ZR-FE, 3ZR-FAE:

      Reconnect the A62 ECM connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. INSPECT ECM (TC of DLC3 INPUT)

      Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Using SST, connect terminals 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Check that the malfunction indicator lamp is blinking.
