ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A005AO7

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. A005CKT

      Temporarily install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    5. Connect the connector.

  2. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
