LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Wagon) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

  • The license plate light bulb can be replaced by removing only the license plate light lens. It is not necessary to remove the license plate light assembly.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light assembly.

  7. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT PACKING

    1. E274784

      Remove the license plate light packing.

      Note:

      Do not reuse the removed license plate light packing. Be sure to install a new license plate light packing to prevent water ingress.

  8. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT LENS

      Insert into the hole

      Protective Tape

      Insert a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape into the license plate light lens hole, tilt it as shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light lens.

  9. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB

      Remove the license plate light bulb.
