NAME PLATE REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM
Tip:When removing the symbol emblem, heat the vehicle body and symbol emblem using a heat light.

20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
Note:Do not heat the vehicle body or symbol emblem excessively.

Boss
Put protective tape around the symbol emblem.
Insert piano wire between the vehicle body and symbol emblem.
Tip:Be careful of the boss positions.
Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.
Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the symbol emblem to the vehicle body.
Note:Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Remove the symbol emblem.

REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE
Tip:When removing the back door name plate, heat the vehicle body and back door name plate using a heat light.

Note:Do not heat the vehicle body or back door name plate excessively.

Wooden Block
Put protective tape around the back door name plate.
Insert piano wire between the vehicle body and back door name plate.
Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.
Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the back door name plate to the vehicle body.
Note:Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Remove the back door name plate.

REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR EMBLEM
Tip:When removing the No. 1 back door emblem, heat the vehicle body and No. 1 back door emblem using a heat light.

REMOVE NO. 4 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE
Tip:When removing the No. 4 back door emblem, heat the vehicle body and No. 4 back door emblem using a heat light.
