DESCRIPTION

  • When the ECM detects a cruise control main switch on signal from the cruise control main switch, it sends it to the combination meter assembly through CAN communication. Then the cruise control SET indicator light turns on.

  • The cruise control SET indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

When replacing the combination meter assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. According to the display on the GTS, perform the Active Test.

      for TFT Display Type:

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (SET/COAST SWITCH)

    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Data List.

    2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      1. for 2AD-FTV, 2AD-FHV:
