    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked*1

      • When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When a registered key leaves all of the actuation areas around the doors, the lights that operate turn off.

      • Footwell Light (LH/RH)*4

      • Front Inside Handle Illumination Light (LH/RH)*5

      Door Lock/Unlock-linked

      • When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.

      Shift Position-linked When the shift lever is moved from P to any other position, the lights that operate dim.

      Delay

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is operated.*1

      • The door unlock-linked function is operated.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.

      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all the doors are closed.

      • Footwell Light (LH/RH)*4

      • Front Inside Handle Illumination Light (LH/RH)*5

      When approximately 40 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.*1

      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all the doors are closed.

      Battery Saving

      • When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The battery saving function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


        • The ignition switch is turned ACC or ON.

        • Any door is opened and closed.

        • The luggage compartment door is opened and closed.

        • Any door is unlocked.

        • The key enters any exterior actuation area.*1

      Interior Light Auto Cut Function

      • When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The interior light auto cut function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


        • The ignition switch is turned ACC or ON.
