THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

  6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

    1. A230334

      Disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 12 water by-pass hose.

    2. Disconnect the throttle position sensor and control motor connector.

    3. A230331

      Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body and gasket.

    4. A230332

      Remove the No. 12 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.

    5. A230333

      Remove the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.
