HEATER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (for 2WW)

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 COWL TOP PANEL INSULATOR (for 2WW)

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. E269422

      Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the gasket from the No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE HEATER AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector from the heater and accessory assembly.

      for AD Series Engine:

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 3 clips to disconnect each hose from the heater and accessory assembly.

      2. Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 1 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the body.

      3. Remove the 2 bolts, nuts and heater and accessory assembly.

      for 2WW:

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 3 clips to disconnect each hose from the heater and accessory assembly.

      2. Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 1 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the body.

      3. Remove the 2 bolts, nuts and heater and accessory assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      for AD Series Engine:

      1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the heater assembly.

      2. Remove the 2 gaskets from the heater assembly.

      for 2WW:

      1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the heater assembly.

      2. Remove the 2 gaskets from the heater assembly.

  6. REMOVE WATER HOSE AND FUEL HOSE

      for AD Series Engine:

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 3 clips to remove the 2 water hoses and fuel hose from the heater assembly.

    2. for 2WW:

      1. E332782

        Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 3 clips to remove the 2 water hoses and fuel hose from the heater assembly.
