LIGHTING SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION


    1. When any one of the following conditions is satisfied, the illuminated entry system turns on the map light assembly, key illumination light (transponder key amplifier)*1, engine switch (push start switch) illumination light*2:


      1. Any door is opened.

      2. The driver-side door is unlocked using the wireless door lock control system or locked manually.*1

      3. Any door is unlocked using the wireless door lock control system, entry and start system, or locked manually.*2

      4. A key enters any exterior actuation area of the door electrical key oscillator.*2

      5. All doors are closed and the ignition switch is turned from ON to off.

    2. When any one of the following conditions is satisfied, these lights will fade out:


      1. The lights have remained on for approximately 15 seconds after all doors have been properly closed.

      2. All doors are closed and locked using the wireless door lock control system, entry and start system*2, or locked manually.

      3. All doors are closed and the ignition switch is turned to ON or ACC.

    3. A battery saving function is used to automatically turn off the map light assembly, key illumination light (transponder key amplifier)*1, engine switch (push start switch) illumination light*2 when the following condition occurs continuously for over 20 minutes:


      1. Any door is in a partially or fully opened state, with the power off and the unlock warning switch off.

    4. The map light assembly illuminate only when the map light switch is in the door position.

    5. Customize parameters can be configured by means of the customized body electronics system. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.
